Carer of the Year
This award thanks those who care for and look after the welfare of others. Their willing efforts can frequently go unnoticed except by those who rely on them heavily and appreciate their support so much.
That help can often be given at the expense of people’s own freedom, yet it is given with no thought of thanks or acknowledgement. It is, they would say, just what carers do. But this award plans to change that. They are special treasures and we aim to celebrate their generosity and dedication,without which so many in our society would suffer.
