Jenna Eldridge

Jenna Eldridge has been nominated for the award for her work at Green Oaks Nursing Home.
‘Jenna deserves the award because she embodies compassion, resilience, and unwavering dedication to her community,’ said her nominator. 
‘Her strength in difficult moments, her commitment to advocating for vulnerable individuals, and her ability to bring calm and humanity to every situation make her an irreplaceable presence in the care community.’ 
Leah Bentley also nominated Ms Eldridge. 
‘She was always approachable, supportive and willing to help, no matter how busy she was. She made everyone feel valued and was the kind of person you could always go to for advice or support.' 
Ms Eldridge has been working in care homes for 22 years and is currently the care manager at Green Oaks. 
‘Just because it is a nursing home, does not mean it can not be a home,’ said Ms Eldridge. ‘People think once you get into a nursing home, your journey is over, but I do not think that. We give them a good quality of life. 
‘I want to be a part of someone’s journey towards the end, give their family support and make sure the residents are as happy as they can be.’
