Waitrose Rohais staff
THE team at Waitrose Rohais have been nominated for the Customer Service of the Year award.
About
Their nominator Vicki Leadbeater commended the staff, notably Gemma White, for their ‘kindness, care, and dedication’ after going great lengths earlier this year to resolve a stressful incident for Mrs Leadbeater.
She had taken her baby niece into the store on one of their first trips out of the house and had lost her car keys in the supermarket.
‘The car was locked, the baby was due to be fed and there was no spare key,’ said Mrs Leadbeater.
‘Gemma and her colleagues scoured every inch of the store trying to help me,’ she said. The team eventually found Mrs Leadbeater’s keys after over an hour of searching.
‘It was such exceptional service when everyone also has their regular jobs to be getting on with.
‘I was so impressed and grateful for their efforts.'
Mrs White said: ‘I’m a bit shocked. I feel it’s something we should do naturally to help our customers.’
‘It gave us a great sense of achievement to help Vicki out.
'It’s a warm feeling to know you’ve done something good in the day that has had a positive impact on others.’
