Susan Le Page

Mrs Le Page is a carer to her older brother who lives with cancer. Ever since the diagnosis and even beforehand, Mrs Le Page has been by his side every step of the way. 
The nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous, praised Mrs Le Page for her warmth and kindness in support of her brother. ‘She has a heart of gold and will do anything for anybody. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her.’ 
Having a large family of her own, Mrs Le Page has been commended by her nominator for doing all she can for everyone.
‘I truly wonder how she fits all of this in and still has time for herself.’
Not only does she physically care for her brother, but she also provides emotional support and will spend her days keeping him company. ‘She will just sit with him for hours on end playing his favourite number game. Whatever he needs, she is there,’ said her nominator. 
Mrs Le Page said she was honoured to have been nominated. 
‘I am chuffed and a bit emotional,' she said. 
‘I do all I can and I am very proud of what I have done for him.’
