The Knits & Knots owner has been nominated for the award by Diane Oke.

‘She is such a kind, caring individual who is very passionate about passing on her skill to others.’

Classes for her crochet business started in January 2025 and the response from the public has been positive.
‘I’m really shocked, it’s really nice to be nominated. I’m very chatty and love to talk and teach people, so wanted to make a community full of fun,’ she said.
‘My crochet business is about spreading positivity while helping to bring back a lost art. I find that being around positive people makes people positive and crocheting seems to make people happy.

‘She is a true inspiration to many, ' said her nominator.
‘There is no end to her enthusiasm and passion when it comes to sharing her skill with others. She also produces monthly boxes which contain everything one needs to make that particular month’s challenge and
sends a link on how to make it.’
