About
Known within the community for his home-grown vegetables, fruits and herbs, 11-year-old Noah has dedicated himself to growing what he can in his free time and has received a lot of support from the community.
‘His knowledge about what he’s doing is amazing.
‘I’m just really impressed with his dedication and motivation,' said the person who nominated him. They wanted to remain anonymous.
Noah has been growing plants and flowers since he was very little, and over the last few years his enthusiasm has grown as well as being able to earn a little more pocket money.
‘I feel very happy and overwhelmed that someone has nominated me,’ said Noah, who loves tasting his home-grown produce.
‘I hope to increase my growing so I can start my own veg boxes and do stalls at local farmers’ markets.'
Noah believes that people must look after themselves by eating healthily and wants to inspire other children to do the same.
‘It’s just amazing and incredible for his age,’ said the nominator.
‘I grow my own fruit and veg, and I know how rewarding it is to pick what you want for dinner and feed your family.’
Some of Noah’s produce includes carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, sugar snap peas, strawberries and various herbs.
