Naomi Foley
Naomi Foley has been nominated for Parent of the Year
About
Naomi Foley is the mother of triplets - Aggie, Edith and Margo - who are turning three this September.
Due to complications during an emergency C-section, Margo has quadriplegic cerebral palsy, requiring constant care.
‘I’ve never had a different parenting experience, so what we go through as a family is completely normal to me,’ said Miss Foley. ‘We all just do our best because we love our kids.’
‘Naomi is a wonderful mummy. She has so much on her plate but will do anything for her girls,’ said nominator Christina Gillman.
‘She set up a group called Margo’s Marvellous Miracle to raise money for Margo to receive stem cell treatments and extensive physiotherapy treatments. So many people have now helped her raise funds too.’
Margo has received one round of stem cells and dynamic movement intervention physiotherapy in Jersey with another two sessions nearly funded by the almost £76,000 already raised via GoFundMe.
‘She is tireless in her love and devotion to her girls and always strives to make sure that they are loved and happy,’ said another nominator Jo Bentley.
‘Naomi is Margo’s full-time carer and has not stopped since the triplets’ birth; to advocate for Margo, to ensure she has the best chance at a life of happiness and laughter.
‘Naomi is an inspiration and I have the absolute pleasure to say she is my good friend and her girls part of my family. She does not see that she is truly amazing.’
