‘Both Peter and Ellie are locally born and bred. Both have worked alongside each other setting up this school and getting qualified. 
‘Enthusiasm for what they do is endless, and I know there are others who offer similar, but I also know how important it is to them that everyone gets a chance not just those who will win trophies,’ said nominator Rose Farish.
‘They encourage everyone. Dance and drama isn’t just for talented people but for everyone.’ 
After co-founding the Music Box, aged 17, with her mother Meg Mitchell and brother Peter, Ellie started to teach dancing.
‘I love the diversity of it all, the additional needs classes, ages, style, competitive and non-competitive, how much is offered.’
‘We want to help provide jobs for more people on the island by creating more classes, and to just maintain what we have built as a family.’
