La Perla Restaurant has been nominated for Customer Service of the Year.
About
La Perla’s roots in Guernsey date back to the 2000s when current co-owner Dinarte Fernandez’s former business partner opened the restaurant.
Since its beginning, La Perla has remained popular with members of the community, with regulars coming up to three times a week.
‘We were supposed to go to Herm but due to bad weather we couldn’t,’ said their nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous.
‘La Perla was able to accommodate 15 of us with no issues.’
The nominator praised the helpfulness and kindness of the staff, and the details of them remembering dietary requirements and drink preferences.
‘I know we can provide good service, and we thrive to help people come out on a budget,’ said Mr Fernandez, who was proud to hear of the restaurant’s nomination.
La Perla specialises in humble home cooking, always cooking with pride.
‘I think La Perla is important for the community, we try to belong to a community,’ said Mr Fernandez.
The nominator and their family said they go to Le Perla around four times a year as it is a family favourite.
