Kristina Bisson

Mrs Bisson has two grandchildren and has been nominated for the amazing job she continues to do every day while building such a special bond with them. 
Described by her nominator, Chloe Le Poidevin, as having a ‘loving nature,’ Mrs Bisson is constantly helping out even though she has a full time job of her own. ‘No matter what, she is always there to help and to make them laugh. They have formed such a close relationship. 
‘She will constantly be on the go but still makes time for them. She has them round for tea and takes them out regularly to the park.’ 
Mrs Bisson was surprised to have been nominated for the award, ‘I am very happy to have been nominated. I just enjoy spending as much time as I can with my grandkids. 
‘I changed my job so I can spend more time with my family. 
‘The best thing is watching my kids bring up theirs and watching them grow.’ 
This summer, Mrs Bisson and her husband have enjoyed taking the grandchildren to Herm, where she has a seasonal camping tent. ‘We are just the happiest and proudest grandparents,’ she said.
