Kim Le Marchant

Miss Le Marchant is currently based as a carer at Le Grand Courtil. She is also a warden for Metivier House and Courtil Jaques, where she carries out welfare checks once a week.
‘Since I was little, I’ve always wanted to be a carer,’ said Miss Le Marchant.
‘I love everything about my job, I love meeting new people, knowing their story and making a difference.
‘I help the residents if they are unwell and get them the support they need. 
‘I’m very touched to be nominated, it’s always nice to be recognised but it is also a team effort.’
She was nominated by Karyn Torode, a resident at Metivier House, who Miss Le Marchant has helped look after for eight years.
‘She’s wonderful, nothing is ever too much trouble,’ said Ms Torode.
‘She takes care of me and all the other residents – there are 14 flats,’ she added.
