‘Travel Trident has created a culture of service excellence,’ said its nominator, who visits Herm throughout the year.
The nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous, praised the kiosk staff for their helpfulness. ‘They handle enquiries with patience, providing clear information and practical solutions,’ they said.
They also commended the boat crew for creating a ‘welcoming atmosphere that makes every journey pleasant and stress-free,’ particularly through their ‘attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request, no matter how small’.
‘We pride ourselves on doing the best we can for the customer,’ said Peter Wilcox, Trident’s managing director. ‘It’s getting to know the locals and visitors that we most enjoy.’
The nominator thanked crew member Paul Phillips for ‘always going above and beyond to ensure passengers feel valued and supported’, such as his daily positive notes on the boat’s noticeboard. ‘He is an extremely giving person,’ they added.
‘We value our staff as part of the family,’ said Mr Wilcox. ‘I have the utmost respect for what they do.’
