THE team at Good Rebel have been nominated for the Customer Service of the Year award.

The restaurant opened its doors in 2022. Described by their nominator Alison Smith as a ‘cheerful and friendly’ team, the staff were commended for their warm hospitality. Mrs Smith is a loyal customer, and every weekend she and her husband look forward to a visit to their favourite coffee spot.
‘This is an amazing acknowledgement for the team,’ said Steven Hopkins, owner of Good Rebel.
‘I am lucky to have excellent staff who are driven in offering warm, genuine hospitality.
Mrs Smith added: ‘The team are hard-working and always smiling too. We are always served quickly, even when they are busy.’
She added that the staff have a real talent of making customers feel welcome and having a joke.
Mrs Smith praised the team for always adding a special touch to her visits. She is referred to as ‘Miss Alison’ upon arrival, and on Mother’s Day, she was offered complimentary chocolates.
‘I don’t think I’d get this treatment anywhere else,’ she said.
