Dr Jo Daish

Dr Daish was nominated by patient Koritta Coutu. Miss Coutu has been seeing Dr Daish for four to five years due to struggles with her mental health. 
‘She’s helped me in so many ways,’ said Miss Coutu. ‘She listens, she speaks to you as a person, she doesn’t look down on you and she is always there to help you when she can.’
Dr Daish has been working at the Queens Road Medical Practice since 2021. She is an advocate for preventative medicine, and leads by example to her patients by following a healthy lifestyle herself, going for runs most lunches.
‘The best part of the job is feeling like you actually make a difference, seeing them flourish brings me joy,’ she said.
Dr Daish also praised and acknowledged the staff working behind the scenes at the Queens Road Medical Practice. ‘I am just one person in a team of many; I couldn’t do it without them,’ she said.
