Dominic Drysdale

Mr Drysdale works at Specsavers and joined the company in 2023 as an optical adviser, helping with the dispensing of glasses and addressing customers’ needs. 
‘I was very surprised and happy to receive this nomination,’ he said. 
‘I have heard about the awards but I can’t say I was expecting it. Chatting with customers and focusing on helping people is a highlight of the job.’ 
He was nominated by Lindsey Veillard, who has been a customer on numerous occasions. She commended Mr Drysdale on always going above and beyond. 
‘Seeing him for the second time when I returned for another check-up, Dom remembered who I was and asked how my glasses were doing,’ Mrs Veillard said. ‘I was amazed he remembered me.
‘Dom always makes me feel very special and is so patient, never making me feel rushed to make a decision.
‘He is very thorough with his work and you can tell he loves his job.’
