Dave Hyett

An actor and director who says he is a ‘yes man’ has been nominated for the award.
‘I feel really proud, ‘said Dave Hyett, ‘I work very hard so to be recognised for that, it has blown me away.
‘I find delight in being in anything but my favourite is when I’m challenged or if I go on an emotional journey in my work, such as in
Brothers.
‘I love choreographing for the fights and my biggest achievement was the fight scene that was shot at Fort Doyle for the short film Sands Of Purgatory.’
‘Dave has appeared in many theatrical productions throughout the years,’ said the nominator who wishes to remain anonymous, ‘he has displayed his many skills – choreographer, fight coordinator, comedian and actor (most recently in the award-winning play Brothers) -  as well as appearing in films.
‘I’m nominating Dave for his sheer professionalism, as a force of nature in the local acting scene and, basically, for being a genuinely nice bloke.’
