Darcie Harrison

‘Ever since I was little, I’ve always been drawn to art’, said Young Achiever nominee Darcie Harrison.
Having recently completed her A-Level studies, Miss Harrison has recently founded a small business called Made for Moments, and has begun working as a social and content assistant at Buzz, creating social media content for companies across the island.
‘Darcie worked tirelessly at home and school to perfect her craft’, said Miss Harrison’s nominator and art teacher Sam Bailey. ‘Darcie is an extraordinary talent, but also a really hard-working person, who deserves to be recognized for her talent and dedication to the arts.’
Miss Harrison is also a muralist and competition winner. As part of a group, Miss Harrison painted a mural of La Coupee for the Art for Guernsey Turner exhibition; she also volunteered to paint murals inside the Little Big Brewery Pub.
Miss Harrison won the Best Brand award from Specsavers Creative in 2025 for her hip-hop inspired magazine, and at the Sixth Form Centre’s in-house media award ceremony the Golden Gregsons, her team won the Best Digipak prize.
Her design was also chosen as the winner for the Bedell Cristin dolphin as part of the Dolphin Discovery Trail, supporting Autism Guernsey,
‘It is really exciting and an honour to receive this nomination and to have my hard work over the past few years recognised’, said Miss Harrison.
‘I hope to continue using my creativity and skills to make a positive contribution to both the creative industry and the local community.’
