Christopher Reeves

Mr Reeves has worked as a visitor assistant at Candie Museum for the past six years. His role can involve managing the desk, greeting visitors, restocking the shop, or even building and painting model velociraptors, depending on the day. 
Mr Reeves was speechless after hearing of his nomination. 
‘Christopher is a staple of the museum,’ said nominator, Tristan Solei. 
‘He is always friendly, asks after people he hasn’t seen in a while, and likes to learn as much as he can about his customers and visitors.’ 
Mr Solei credited Mr Reeves with an impressive ability to remember visitors' names, even after several years. 
‘He goes above and beyond the job description and ultimately is someone who makes you smile and feel special,’ said Mr Solei. ‘He just lifts your spirits.’ 
‘That’s just how my brain works,’ said Mr Reeves. 
He said enjoyed interacting with the public on busy days and providing an enjoyable and education environment for the children on their school holidays.
