CHARLIE MURRAY-EDWARDS has been nominated for the Customer Service of the Year award.
About
Mr Murray-Edwards is currently the team leader at the Puffin & Oyster, after graduating from the Edge Hotel School in event management.
‘I’m pretty happy to be nominated,’ said Mr Murray-Edwards. ‘It’s so nice to know somebody has recognised the long hours I put in.’
Described as ‘confident, problem-solving and hardworking’ by his nominator Bella Edwards, Mr Murray-Edwards was commended for offering the ultimate service to everyone he comes across.
‘He’s consistent in including people with allergies, access issues, and children to give them a great meal out,’ said Miss Edwards. ‘He’s a great role model for young people to see the level and reputation you can achieve in hospitality at that age.
‘It makes me smile seeing customers stop him in the street.
‘He helps to get people to return to the restaurant.’
‘My everyday small actions can really make somebody’s day,’ said Mr Murray-Edwards.
‘People come here for a celebration, and I love that I get to be a part of that.’
