Brad Le Flock
Brad Le Flock has been nominated for Bailiwick Community Hero award
About
Douzenier Mr Le Flock is in his 16th year of being an active parish official in St Sampson’s.
‘I feel surprised and very humble, I am just doing what I believe to be right and the fact that people have seen this to be worthy of some sort of recognition is very humbling,’ said Mr Le Flock.
‘With the douzaine so much of the effort and time is behind the scenes and inspecting areas of the parish where situations have arisen.
‘A simple evening walk generally involves some form of activity like this or observing issues that need/could do with further action being taken.
‘Going forward I just want to be able to continue to support and help people as best I can. The douzaine brings forward new and varied projects constantly and I aim to keep our surgeries going in order to provide people with the further opportunity to engage with us.’
Nominator Bernie Coutu said: ‘He’s always getting things ready and being there to help his community.
‘I would have no problem at all going to speak to him about any problems I might have in the parish.
‘He listens to you and takes it all in – really a one in a million person.’
