Ben Fiore

He was nominated for his photography promoting and advertising the island globally. 
Ben's nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous, describes him as ‘enthusiastic, humble and passionate.’ 
‘He works really hard and does a lot to show the beautiful island,’ they said. 
Mr Fiore is a local photographer who has been capturing images of the island for 16 years. He photographs weddings, family portraits and other special occasions, as well as doing commercial work for local businesses. He also sells local landscapes in his shop.
Mr Fiore helps promote the island through his social media, posting every day. ‘I regularly get heartfelt messages from people abroad saying how much my photography inspires them to visit, or return to, our island,' he said. 
‘Having my shop also gives me the chance to support local charities and events by donating prints for fundraising.
‘I love using my camera as a tool – both socially and creatively. Whether I’m photographing someone’s business or their personal passion, I love being able to present it in the light they envisioned and converting that into an image that connects with the public.'
