Anna Mills and Beverley Mella
ANNA MILLS and Beverley Mella, the office staff at St Sampson’s douzaine, have been put forward for the Customer Service of the Year award.
About
The women were commended by their nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous, for the great relationship they have built with the parishioners since they began working for the douzaine in 2023.
‘Everyone says how polite and helpful they are on the reception desk,’ said their nominator. ‘Some just go in for a chit-chat as they are both so friendly.’
‘We want to help our parishioners in any way that we can,’ said office manager Mrs Mills. ‘Some people feel they need help. We don’t want anyone struggling in silence. They are always welcome here.'
Their nominator also praised Mrs Mills and Mrs Mella for their efforts to get the community involved, holding events throughout the year and sharing opportunities
on the douzaine’s social media.
‘They care deeply about their parish and want to get to know those in it.’
Mrs Mills added: ‘It’s most important to us to improve the parish and make it a good community.'
