'The last five to six years have been difficult,' said Adam Mourant, shocked at receiving his nomination, 'but we've finally got to a place where the kids are secure and happy'.

Working 60-70 hours a week to provide for his family showed the single father's family-orientated attitude and hard work ethic.

'We were struggling,' said his nominator.

'He worked so hard to get the money to afford a new house.'

Hoping to give his children all of the opportunities he never got to experience as a child, Adam does all he can to spend as much time as possible with his children, despite the long hours at work.

Looking into the future, Adam hopes to keep the stable environment for his children, and he hopes that they can pursue their dreams, and become what he believes they can.
