Emergency Hero of the Year
It is not until you need a lifeline emergency service, that you realise just how important it is. Guernsey and the rest of the Bailiwick rely around the clock on a network of emergency responders to protect and keep us safe.
Nominees
Our police, fire and ambulance services, along with our coastguard, air search and lifeboat crews are our community’s guardians, on hand for anything from minor accidents to serious incidents, from protecting our borders to carrying out major life-saving rescues. Their work can be tough, demanding and often in extreme, dangerous conditions whether on land, sea or air. But without such dedication and tireless high standards from these individuals our island’s unique and enviable safety would be jeopardised and lives would be lost. If you know of an emergency responder or team deserving special recognition, this is your chance to nominate them.
